why I am always late to know?

I always get to know technology News very late. Like Apple Ipad I got to know about it when it hit the stores and many hundreds were almost sold. I want to know a website where I can get techonology info before hand. I live in Pakistan so this could be one of the reasons, but I would like to stay updated with the world on Technology News. until last month I never knew what is a tablet!
