What significant impact will science,technology, engineering, and math have on the national economy over the next ten years

Science and math leads to material improvements, that is fancier technology and more efficient engineering. It’ll make things cheaper and better.

From an economical point of view, that shouldn’t change anything. It’s been that way for decades.

Possibly file sharing could change the way entertainment is distributed, but my guess is that it won’t effect economy over all. People will just spend whatever they don’t pay to distributors on something else.

What changes economy on a national level is politics, media, culture, and what ever the rest of the world is up to.
