What kind of jobs do Information Technology, Computer Science and Computer programmers get into?
I am looking into 3 different majors to study, and wonder what kind of jobs are offered for these kind of majors? I am thinking of majoring in Information technology, Computer Science or Computer programming!!
Computer science has a lot more math. At my college you earned a math minor after completing the CS major.
I majored in computer information systems. I’ve been working as a developer for the past 4 years. I develop business applications, customize share point and crm, create reports through ssrs, design and develop databases and data warehousing, etc. I do the same job the guy with the CS degree does.
The major you choose is just a step in the process. They won’t teach you even an eighth of what you need to know, so make sure that you keep increasing you knowledge and skills on your own.
